The journey from trying to conceive to finally becoming new parents can feel like an emotional rollercoaster. Being on a fertility journey myself, I can relate to the ups and downs and the challenge of balancing between optimism and pessimism. As a therapist, my passion lies in helping individuals and couples to better manage their emotional distress during this time. Sessions with me may look at developing skills to regulate difficult feelings, strengthening support and communication with spouse/loved ones, engaging in self-care practice, and making lifestyle adjustments to optimise fertility. Drawing from a variety of evidence-based techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused therapy (EFT), mindfulness and relaxation strategies, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, my goal is to help clients develop healthier functioning and mental resilience, so that they can maintain their emotional balance in times of distress and disappointments.

I also have a special interest in supporting people struggling with fertility-related issues such as: grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression and couple relationship distress. My hope is that through our collaborative efforts in therapy, you will be able to find healing and move forward in a way that is life-enhancing, purposeful and compassionate.
